About Me

Who the hell am I?

I’m Sara, a landscape photographer based in Northern BC. Born and raised in Prince George, I grew up exploring the trails and bush around my home at a young age. I ate dirt, played with dinosaurs, and spent as much time with the boys as possible (not because they were cool, but they did cooler stuff).

I’ve always enjoyed being outside and throughout my years I’ve developed a sincere passion for doing hard fucking things like hiking mountains and rock climbing (badly). It’s my dog Carl and me out there exploring; hiking, camping, road-tripping, kayaking and enjoying the finer things in life including a nice, juicy steak and a dry glass of wine (yes, Carl likes that shit too). The best day is a day out in fresh air, on a mountain top, covered in type-two-fun sweat clinking a summit bevvy.

I want to share my experiences with my community, my inspiration drawn from other mountaineers, hikers, skiers, snowshoers, and general badass nature lovers like me. We have such a wide array of stunning landscapes around us, and not everyone has the means or ability to reach some of these more challenging places themselves or, are afraid to. My images share special pieces of nature, heavily focused on the mountain ranges around us.

My goal with photography is to capture that feeling of exploring a new place for the very first time and freezing it to be shared and re-lived over and over again. I want to inspire each one of you to get outside, take a breath, and focus on the stunning area around you – and maybe kick my ass up a mountain someday. Takers?
